104 new COVID-19 cases reported in Hanoi on November 4

The capital city of Hanoi confirmed 104 new COVID-19 infections from 6pm on November 3 to 6pm on November 4, according to the municipal Department of Health.

Among the new cases, sixty four infections were detected in the community, fourty others in concentrated quarantine facilities and areas under lockdown.

Twenty one were reported in Ba Dinh district, fifteen in Gia Lam district, twelve each in Ha Dong and Me Linh districts, nine in Quoc Oai district, six in Hoang Mai district, five in Long Bien district, four each in Nam Tu Liem, Bac Tu Liem and Hai Ba Trung districts, three in Dong Anh district, two each in Cau Giay and Thanh Xuan districts, and one each in Tay Ho, Soc Son, Dong Da, Quoc Oai and Hoai Duc districts.

Out of sixty four locally-acquired infections, twenty one are related to the COVID-19 outbreak in Gia Lam’s Ninh Hiep commune, sixteen are linked to the cluster in Ba Dinh’s Cong Vi ward, nine linked to Ha Dong’s Phu La ward.

Particularly, twenty one cases were detected in Ba Dinh district, twelve each in Ha Dong and Gia Lam districts, three each in Hoang Mai and Hai Ba Trung districts, two each in Thanh Xuan, Bac Tu Liem, Dong Anh and Long Bien districts, and one each in Tay Ho, Soc Son, Cau Giay, Nam Tu Liem and Me Linh districts.

Local people are required to strictly abide by the 5K message and countermeasures set by the Ministry of Health so as to soon stamp out the pandemic.

Those showing symptoms of cough, sore throat, high body temperature, fatigue, reduction or loss of taste are required to contact with the nearest medical facility for COVID-19 testing to timely deter community transmission.
