From 5 p.m. on Tuesday to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Vietnam recorded 3,461 new COVID-19 cases, including 3 imported cases and 3,458 domestic cases in 47 provinces and cities. Vietnam has so far recorded a total of 849,691 COVID-19 cases, ranking 41 out of 223 countries and territories. According to the ratio of infections per million people, Vietnam ranked 155 out of 223 countries and territories.

On Wednesday, an additional 1,191 patients were given the all-clear from the virus, raising the total number of cured cases to 787,286. During the day, 106 deaths were recorded.
