12 sub-projects of the mega project to build the eastern section of the North-South expressway in the 2021-2025 period will commence next Sunday, the first day of 2023.

Transport Minister Nguyen Van Thang said on Friday that the projects will be implanted in 9 provinces including Hà Tĩnh, Bình Định, and Cà Mau.

The eastern section stretches more than 723km and costs an estimated 6.2 billion USD.
