A total of 1,478 new COVID-19 infections were confirmed on Sunday, raising the national caseload to 10,779,632, according to the Ministry of Health.

9,913,396 patients have been given the all clear as 7,877 recoveries were reported the same day.

The total fatalities now stand at 43,093.

More than 245 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide.
