1st Southwestern Economic Forum to be held in November

The 1st Southwestern Economic Forum will be held in November to gather the business community’s contributions to development issues and ways to improve competitiveness.

The Forum will be organized by the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

Nguyen Phuong Lam, Director of VCCI in Can Tho city, said, "Based on our analysis of challenges, risk, and opportunities in recent years, 2021 will be a milestone year for global development and for Vietnam."

"We hope that the upcoming Party Congresses will create a turning point in Vietnam’s economic development and that businesses will benefit from these guidelines to grow stronger. The Mekong Delta is expected to become a dynamic economic region and contribute significantly to national development."
