The Health Ministry reported 617 new cases of COVID-19 and more than 9,300 recoveries in Vietnam on Monday. No deaths were recorded the same day.

The country has so far confirmed 10.7 million infections, ranking 12th among 227 countries and territories worldwide.

More than 43,000 patients have died, accounting for 0.4% of the total infections.
