Vietnam has recorded 1.76 million cases of COVID-19, ranking 31 out of 224 countries and territories regarding the number of cases, and 138 regarding the ratio of infections per million people.
The total number of people recovered is 1.37 million while the total deaths is nearly 33,000, accounting for 1.9% of the total infections.
A total of 153 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered, of which the number of 2nd dose administered was 69 million, while 6 million 3rd doses were administered.
Vietnam has recorded the 1-dose vaccination rate of 99.5% and 2-dose vaccination rate of 90.7% among the adult population.
