Additional 800,000 vaccine doses allocated for Ho Chi Minh City

 An additional 800,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses will be delivered to Ho Chi Minh city as the latest wave rages on with the city’s infection cases surpassing 1,000.  At a meeting on Wednesday, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Truong Son said this vaccination campaign will involve central and local hospitals, army units, universities, health clinics, and mobile vaccination units to administer the allocated amount of vaccines as soon as possible.

“We’ll give priority to vaccinating workers at industrial parks. I hope the city will accelerate its vaccine rollout,” according to Deputy Minister Son.
