Argentina deploys big security campaign for G20 summit
The Argentine government said Tuesday that it will deploy the biggest security campaign in history to secure the G20 Summit in Buenos Aires next weekend.
22,000 officers will be mobilized to guard strategic spots and buildings surrounding the main venue. Subway and urban trains will stop operating and bus routes will be changed during the event.
The G20 summit will be attended by world leaders, including US President Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and French President Emmanuel Macron.
