ASEAN Health Ministers will cooperate with the US to develop and strengthen the health system, Indonesian Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said Sunday during an online press conference following the 15th ASEAN Health Ministers’ Meeting.

During an ASEAN-US Health Minister Level special session, the two sides agreed to adopt the ASEAN-US Reference Framework and to develop three years’ work plan, said Budi Gunadi Sadikin.

The plan will include strengthening the health system to prevent the next pandemic.
