Australia aid supports 11 projects in Vietnam

The Consulate General of Australia in Ho Chi Minh City signed an agreement Wednesday on providing aid to 11 community projects in Vietnam.

This is part of the Direct Aid Program (DAP) for Vietnamese central and southern localities in 2016-2017, including An Giang, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, Hau Giang, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Ca Mau, Khanh Hoa, and Ho Chi Minh City. The aid, worth more than 145.000 USD, will support women's empowerment, education, infrastructure, the environment, agricultural development, and community health.

DAP is part of the Australian government's small-scale aid for Vietnamese organizations unable to access larger scale programs.
