Bloody shooting in Texas kills 20

At least 20 people have been killed after a shooter opened fire on Saturday at a busy Walmart store packed with more than 100 staff and 1000 shoppers in the Texas border city of El Paso.

Texas governor Gregory Abbott told reporters Saturday that 20 people had been killed, and more than two dozen more were injured. He called it "one of the most deadly days in the history of Texas."

One suspect was in custody, officials said. Law enforcement sources say police identified the suspect as Patrick Crusius, 21, from the Dallas area. The reason behind the attack was being investigated.

President Donald Trump said he will deploy forces to support Texas.
