British opposition parties reject PM’s proposal for general election

UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn said Tuesday that opposition leaders have agreed to reject Prime Minister Boris Johnson's proposal to hold an early election if a bill to prevent a no-deal Brexit is passed. European Commission Representative Mina Andreeva admitted Tuesday that the chance of a hard Brexit is high. She said the Commission believes the Brexit deal agreed between former Prime Minister Theresa May and EU leaders, which was turned down 3 times by the UK Parliament, may be the best solution.
