Crowds of people pay tribute to heroic martyrs in Dong Loc

Since the beginning of the year, the Dong Loc T-junction national historical site has welcomed nearly 200,000 visitors, according to the site's management board.

In recent days, there have been 2 to 3 thousand arrivals as Vietnam marks the 71st anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

Meanwhile, a requiem ceremony was held in the central province of Quang Tri on Saturday to commemorate soldiers who died during an 81-day battle here in the summer of 1972 to safeguard the country. The requiem was jointly held by the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Soldier Association and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.
