A seminar highlighting Vietnam’s achievements over the past 30 years of the Doi Moi (Renewal) process took place in Prague, the Czech Republic, on Monday.
Vietnamese counselor Tran Vinh Bac said its renewal policies have helped Vietnam improve external relations, deepen international integration, and raise its status in the world. Mr. Bac said the Czech Republic and Vietnam should exploit their potential and promote cooperation in tourism, labor, higher education, and training.
Pilny Pavel, President of a club on the Communist Party of Moravia political studies, said: “The seminar provides Party members and the Czech people with the latest news about Vietnam, which we find useful for our research. I think the event will boost cooperation between the Communist Party of Czech and Moravia and the Communist Party of Vietnam.”
Participants were briefed about the potential to develop economics, trade, tourism, and labor between Vietnam and the Czech Republic, and shown a photo exhibition on the life of islanders of the Truong Sa archipelago.
