Denmark has new coalition government

Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen has said that his Liberal Party will form a new government with two other parties. After Sunday's meeting with leaders of the center-right Liberal Alliance and the Conservative Party, Rasmussen said the three-party coalition will create a free, rich, and secure Denmark. A new cabinet will to be sworn in on Monday.

Since the 2015 elections, Rasmussen's Liberal Party has had only 34 seats in the 179-member Parliament, necessitating an alliance with other parties to form a majority in Parliament and avoid a new election.
