Deputy PM, FM Minh to visit Japan

Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh will visit Japan and co-chair the 9th meeting of the Viet Nam-Japan Cooperation Committee from May 8-10, the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang told a room of reporters on Thusday.

During the meeting, both sides will discuss on concrete measures to deploy the agreements reached by the two countries' senior leaders in order to accelerate the Viet Nam-Japan extensive strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia in a comprehensive and practical manner in all fields like politics, diplomacy, security-defense, trade, agriculture, education, culture among others.

The two sides will also exchange views on regional and international issues of common concerns.

Deputy PM, FM Minh will pay a courtesy call on Japanese PM Shinzo Abe and meet with Presidents of the Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Association and the Japan International Cooperation Agency./.
