Deputy PM meets leaders of Russian corporations

Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung met Tuesday with leaders of Russia's Rostec Corporation and the Russian Railways (RZD) during his ongoing visit to Russia.

At a meeting with Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov, Mr. Dung lauded Russia's science and technology development and said the two countries have a strong potential for cooperation in telecommunications, health care, and transportation.

Mr. Dung told President of the Russian Railways Oleg Belozyrov that the Vietnamese government welcomes and supports partnership between Vietnamese firms and the RZD in modernising and developing Vietnam's railway system. The Russia Railways leader said his firm is interested in collaborating with Vietnam and showed the Vietnamese delegation his company's modern control centre.

While in Russia, Deputy PM Dung and the Vietnamese delegation laid flowers at President Ho Chi Minh's statue in Moscow, and visited the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese community and businesses in Russia.
