Deputy PM Le Van Thanh called for speeding up construction of the eastern section of the North-South Expressway, commencing the project by the end of this year. Deputy PM Thanh said at a meeting to discuss the 2nd phase of the project on Thursday that the transnational expressway must be completed by 2025, as decided by the National Assembly.

He praised the site clearance efforts of ministries, branches and localities and asked the Ministry of Transport to ensure the project’s progress.
