Dutch Prime Minister begins official visit to Vietnam

Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte begins an official visit to Vietnam on April 9th at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

Amidst the growing Vietnam-Netherlands relations, the visit is an important event marking a new stride in bilateral ties. It is also an occasion for the two countries' leaders to discuss measures to enhance collaboration in politics-diplomacy and trade-investment and intensify existing cooperation frameworks, especially the strategic partnership on climate change adaptation � water management and on sustainable agriculture � food security.

This is PM Rutte's second visit to the Southeast Asian nation after his first in 2014.
