Erdogan wins Turkey’s presidential elections

Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party have claimed victory in Turkey's presidential and parliamentary elections.

The State-run Anadolu News Agency said on Sunday that with 99 percent of votes counted in the presidential race, Erdogan had 52.5 percent. Erdogan's main rival, Muharrem Ince of the opposition Republican People's Party, won just 31 percent.
