The EU requested all parties to demonstrate unequivocally a genuine commitment to allowing humanitarian aid operations to address the safety of Syrian civilians. All parties to the conflict must stop the shelling of civilian areas and medical structures in Aleppo. The EU emphasized once again that there is no military solution to the Syrian civil war.
