Europe remains the hardest-hit region by COVID-19

As of 1:00 on Monday (UTC time), the world recorded nearly 386 million COVID-19 cases, more than 296 million of which have recovered while nearly 5.7 million have died.

The US recorded more than 75.5 million cases, ranking first in the world. The number of cases in the US is nearly double that of India, which ranks 2nd worldwide with 41.2 million cases. Brazil ranks third in the number of cases, currently recording more than 25.5 million cases.

Europe is the hardest-hit region by Covid-19 with more than 124 million cases, including 1.6 million deaths. Asia ranks second with nearly 100 million cases and nearly 1.3 million deaths.
