Exhibition “Silk weaving space” opens at Ho Chi Minh’s memorial house

An incense offering ceremony and the exhibition “Silk weaving space” opened on Friday at President Ho Chi Minh’s memorial house in Hanoi’s Van Phuc village, as part of the activities to mark the 75th anniversary of National Resistance Day (December 19).

The exhibition features 150 images, artifacts and documents related to the event that President Ho Chi Minh wrote the “The Call for National Resistance” in the old house which was recognized as a National Historic Relic Site in 1975.

The memorial house is one of 14 sites in the system of museums and monuments commemorating President Ho Chi Minh.

The exhibition also displays the tradition of Van Phuc – from a silk weaving craft village to a revolutionary village.
