National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on Wednesday visited the Vietnamese Embassy in New Delhi and met the Vietnamese community in India. He applauded the Vietnamese community in India for their enthusiastic response campaigns of donation to help compatriots affected by floods and storms, the poor, and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, and support the prevention of COVID-19 in Vietnam.
National Assembly Chairman Hue said he is pleased with the development of the Vietnamese community in India whose 2nd and 3rd generations are still preserving their homeland’s culture and language.
The top legislator praised what Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau and all the Embassy staff have achieved over the years despite the difficulties and challenges, contributing to constantly strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and India, building high-level strategic trust between the leaders of the two countries, and enhancing mutual understanding and support between the Governments and peoples of the two countries.
