Tra Vinh: The Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh has seen the first official shipment to the US of locally produced 5-star OCOP-rated organic coconut sugar weighing more than 7 tonnes.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Tra Vinh FARM Co. Ltd (Sokfarm), the producer, stated that the sugar is derived from fresh coconut flower nectar. Founded in 2019, Sokfarm currently markets six core coconut nectar and sugar products. To date, its products have been officially exported to Japan, the Netherlands, Germany, the US, and Australia.
