Gold Quality Award given to seafood products

The Gold Quality Award 2017 for Vietnamese seafood products was presented to 81 organizations and individuals on Thursday in Hanoi.

Since the award program began 6 months ago, the organizers have received more than 200 entries. Program organizers include the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Vietnam Fishery Association, and Vietnam Fisheries Magazine. Addressing the event, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Vu Van Tam said: The Gold Quality Awards encourages not only organizations, individuals, and businesses in aquaculture to improve their products and branding, but also researchers to develop and apply new production technologies.

The awards are based on economic performance, social impact, conservation of resources, and eco-environment protection.
