Ha Noi to have new National Exhibition and Fair Centre

Organized by the Municipal People's Committee and Viet Nam Exhibition Fair Centre One Member Company Limited (VEFAC), the ground-breaking ceremony saw the presence of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai; Minister, Chairman of the Office of the Government Mai Tien Dung; Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha; Chairman of the Municipal People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, among others.

The Centre, covering an area of 90 hectares, is located in Xuan Canh, Mai Lam and Dong Hoi communes.

The new Centre is designed to become a "city of exhibition" of international standards that includes outdoor and indoor exhibition, trade promotion, conference sections, hotels, as well as entertainment areas, incorporated in a lively and supporting complex. The project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Addressing the ground-breaking ceremony, Chairman Chung urged relevant bodies to facilitate the project's implementation, so it can be put into operation in the third quarter of 2018, three months ahead of its schedule.
