Ha Noi to host Japanese cherry blossom exhibition in March

Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee Ngo Van Quy on February 5 signed a plan to display 20 cherry blossom trees and 10,000 branches at the statue of King Ly Thai To, near Hoan Kiem Lake from March 10-12.

Many flowers and ornamental trees native to Viet Nam will also be displayed at the event.

The event aims to popularize the beautiful images of Japan and consolidate mutual understandings between the two countries; share experience and seek cooperative opportunities on culture, tourism, and economics between Ha Noi and Japan.
