HCM City boosts cooperation with Japanese prefecture

Ho Chi Minh City is willing to create all favorable conditions for Japanese investors, including those from Kanagawa prefecture, to operate effectively in the city, especially in the fields of mechanics, information technology and plastics.

The statement was made by Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong at a reception for visiting Kanagawa Governor Kuroiwa Yuji in Ho Chi Minh city yesterday. He also suggested the Kanagawa Governor to continue creating optimal conditions for the city's health care and technical postgraduates to pursue further education in the prefecture. Kuroiwa Yuji affirmed his readiness to connect the city with Kanagawa businesses, especially in areas where Vietnamese trainees in Japan can work. He said he wishes to foster cooperation with HCM City in health care, exchanging experience and medical techniques, and designing medical tours of Kanagawa.
