Ho Chi Minh City boosts friendship with Singapore

The Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations held a meeting on Wednesday to celebrate Singapore's 54th National Day (August 9) and strengthen friendship between the metropolitans and Singaporeans.

Addressing the event, Dinh Khac Duy, Vice President of the Vietnam-Singapore Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City, said he believes in a flourishing relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore in culture, sports, tourism, education, and people-to-people exchange.

Roy Kho, Singapore's Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, said Singapore considers Vietnam a close friend and partner and wants to propel the relations forward.
