Ho Chi Minh City’s leadership calls on teenagers’ efforts in environmental protection

PANO � The Ho Chi Minh Municipal Authorities and Party Committees held a gathering themed Youth union members and students of the city joining hands to protect the environment, for 170 outstanding teenagers on February 16.

During the event, participants pointed out issues of their schools and the city such as litter on roads and in canals, foods of unknown origins, abuse of plastic bags and so on.

Speaking at the gathering, Chairman of the Municipal People's Committee held that the city's leadership always wants to listen to youths' opinions and recommendations helping the relevant agencies and sectors better protect the environment.

He hoped that the local youths would join hands to protect the city's environment in the time to come.
