Indian Navy fleet pays friendly visit to Ho Chi Minh City

 

The Indian Navy fleet of 670 officers and sailors docked at Nha Rong Port on Wednesday, starting a 3-day friendship visit to Ho Chi Minh City. The visit aims to enhance cultural exchanges and defense cooperation as Vietnam and India are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations this year. During their stay in Ho Chi Minh City, officers and sailors will pay a courtesy visit to the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, the Military Region 7 Command, the Naval Region 2 Command, and lay a wreath at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument.

Afterwards, the Fleet will join friendly sports competitions with officers and soldiers of the Naval Region 2 Command and an exchange of maritime expertise on a passing exercise (PASSEX) and visit historical sites in Ho Chi Minh City.
