Inter-regional transport connectivity to boost socio-economic development

The government e-portal and Ministries of Planning and Investment, Transport, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City authorities held an online seminar on inter-regional transport links to fuel social economic development on Wednesday.

Delegates voiced initiatives to implement belt road projects in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to foster transport links with major economic hubs.

The government plans to decentralize project implementation with possible adjustment made by the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Vietnam expects to complete 2,000 kilometers of express way from 2021 to 2025.
