Israeli President Reuven Rivlin visits Ho Chi Minh City

Israeli President Reuven Rivlin met Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong on Thursday.

Israeli investors have 11 projects in the city with a capital worth 10 million dollars. Bilateral trade revenue between Ho Chi Minh City and Israel last year was 1.3 billion dollars. Chairman Phong called for more Israeli investment in hi-tech agriculture, IT, chemistry and telecom. Both witnessed the signing of an agreement on health cooperation worth 200 million dollars. They also joined a the Vietnam-Israel business forum in the city.
