A law on climate change was proposed at a seminar on the implementation of legislation to respond to climate change in Vietnam for the 2016-2021 period. The event was jointly held on Thursday in Can Tho city by the National Assembly’s Committee on Science, Technology and Environment and the German Development Cooperation Agency.

Participants said the climate change law needs to incorporate international commitments which Vietnam has made in this field and match Vietnam’s stance and strategies for responding to climate change.
