Linking Moscow to new poisoning in UK is absurd, Russia says

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Monday said Russia was sorry to hear that a British woman had died after being poisoned by a nerve agent, but said any suggestion that Russia was involved is absurd.

Peskov said Russia is deeply worried by the continuing presence of these poisonous substances on British territory and that he considers it a danger not only for the UK but for other Europeans.

Peskov said the investigation and what is happening in the Salisbury area is a British issue which has nothing to do with the upcoming summit between President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.
