Live performance marks 50th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament

The Voice of Vietnam, Nghe An province, and Ho Chi Minh city hosted a political-artistic program entitled Boundless Love on Wednesday night to mark the 50th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament.

The program was broadcast live from Voice of Vietnam's Theatre in Hanoi, the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site in Nghe An province's Nam Dan district, and Nha Rong Wharf, a special relic site in Ho Chi Minh City, where the President left Vietnam to seek national salvation. More than 200 artists performed in the special program under the auspices of VOV President Nguyen The Ky.

Actor Minh Hai, who played President Ho Chi Minh, said: It's my honor to portray President Ho Chi Minh in this 'Boundless Love program, the biggest and most special show I've ever performed in. We staged three short plays to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his Testament. I'm satisfied with my role tonight.

The live program recalled warm memories and stories about President Ho's simple but great life and career and his immense love for his country, citizens, and people worldwide. Musical performances praised President Ho Chi Minh, the Party, Vietnam, and its people.
