According to Thai News Agency, the match saw Manchester United initially take the lead with a penalty kick by Bruno Fernandes in the 70th minute. Chelsea quickly responded, equalizing just four minutes later with a goal from Moises Caicedo. As a result, Manchester United now holds 12 points, placing them 13th in the league standings, while Chelsea sits in 4th place with 18 points. Following the match, Manchester United's manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy, expressed his disappointment over not securing all three points. He noted that despite creating numerous opportunities throughout the game, the team failed to capitalize on them, emphasizing the need for improvement in future matches. On the opposing side, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca expressed satisfaction with the draw, acknowledging the difficulty of securing a win at Old Trafford, especially during a transitional phase for both clubs. Maresca was pleased with his team's performance in securing an equalizer shortly after falling behind, considering the outcome a positive result.
