Club World Cup 2023 will be held in Casablanca, Morocco from February 1-10 next year. This will be the last Club World Cup in the 7-team format for regional champions, before implementing World Cup’s 32-team format in 2025.

FIFA chairman Gianni Infantino expressed high hope for the event in a press conference on Friday.

Host Morocco’s national champion Wydad Athletic and African C1’s semi-finalist Al Ahly will participate in Club World Cup 2023, alongside Europe’s champion Real Madrid, South America’s champion Flamengo, Asia’s champion Al Hilal, North and Central America’s champion Seattle Sounders, and Oceania’s champion Auckland City.
