National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attended a ceremony to  announce the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Resolution on the establishment of Chon Thanh town and its wards in Binh Phuoc province on Saturday.

Speaking at the event, Chairman Hue praised Chon Thanh’s achievements and said that the socio-economic development and the urbanization speed has required the locality to convert itself into an urban government model to meet the needs of development and administrative management.

“Chon Thanh needs to focus on effectively implementing solutions to improve urban quality and sustainable urban development such as “building culture and civilized urban lifestyle”, “perfecting planning of urban culture to meet the creativity and enjoyment needs of the people, focusing on creating many public cultural spaces”, “prioritizing resources to develop basic social services in urban areas, especially in educational, medical and health care services,” Chairman Hue said.

He urged for developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources in urban areas should be focused on.
