National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue has hailed Ben Tre province for achieving a positive growth last year despite difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. At a meeting with Ben Tre provincial Party Committee on Saturday, Mr. Hue applauded the province’s impressive results on administrative reform, IT application, digitalization, social security and order.
He urged Ben Tre to develop a social movement to raise the spirit of self-reliance and aspiration for a better life. He asked the province to better implement social security policies to ensure people’s livelihood.
Also on Saturday, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue visited and gave Tet gifts to families of national contributors, frontline forces in the fight against COVID-19, and workers affected by the pandemic.
The National Assembly delegation burned incenses at the houses of General Nguyen Thi Dinh and former Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong, and gave Tet gifts to heroic mother Vu Thi Nay.
