NA Chairwoman: RoK visit boosts strategic partnership
National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan says her visit to the Republic of Korea will boost the bilateral strategic cooperative partnership.
At a meeting in Busan city on Tuesday with Mayor Oh Keo-don, Madam Ngan said Vietnam values its ties with the Republic of Korea and considers RoK one of its top trade and investment partners. The success of Korean investors in Vietnam symbolizes their bilateral economic cooperation. Madam Ngan said she hopes Busan businesses will invest in high-demand sectors in Vietnam.
Mayor Oh said Vietnam and the Republic of Korea have many similarities and there are many Vietnamese people living and working the RoK. He said Busan plans to set up a center to support Korean-Vietnamese multicultural families.
