This year the National Assembly will conduct a vote of confidence for posts it elected and approved, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said at a meeting with NA agencies on Tuesday. He noted that the process is also an important responsibility of the Council for Ethnic Affairs, and committees of the legislature and its Standing Committee.

For urgent issues, NA agencies should actively work with relevant ministers and heads of ministry-level agencies to seek solutions, Mr. Hue said.

As a Q&A session is held in every session of the National Assembly and its Standing Committee, Chairman Hue said, “Q&A sessions are a transparent way to seek solutions to outstanding issues.”

“Oversight should also focus on the implementation of socio-economic recovery and development, key national projects, and public investment,” he added.
