(VOVWORLD) – National Assembly’s Permanent Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man has praised the important role played by media agencies, including the Voice of Vietnam, in fostering social economic development in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking during his visit to the national broadcaster on Saturday, the Vice Chairman hailed Voice of Vietnam’s joint effort with the National Election Council to ensure the success of the recent National Assembly and People’s Council elections.

“I hope that Voice of Vietnam’s staff, technicians and artists will continue its renovation in the fulfilment of political tasks, improve skills and equipment for the development of the country’s revolutionary press, serving as a bridge between the National Assembly, its Standing Committee and the people and voters nationwide,” said Man.
