NATO to boost troops in Afghanistan

NATO is considering increasing the level of its troops in Afghanistan to help Afghan security forces fight insurgent groups, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told a German newspaper on Sunday.

He said the military coalition of 28 members was weighing an increase of the personnel of its "Resolute Support" mission from the current 13,000. NATO will deliver its final decision before the end of June.
