NATO tries to resolve Baltic dispute with Turkey

NATO is pushing efforts to resolve a dispute with Turkey over NATO defense plans for the Baltic countries, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Tuesday.

He said nothing is promised but NATO has a plan to protect the Baltic nations. The statement came after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened to veto NATO's defense plan if NATO does not recognize the Kurds as a terrorist group.
