VGP – Jetstar Pacific will replace Viet Nam Airlines to exploit the air route between Ho Chi Minh City and Tuy Hoa city in the central province of Phu Yen since March 30.

The airline will conduct 3 round flights on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday every week.

The flights are scheduled to take off at 2.40 pm from Ho Chi Minh City and 4:15 pm from Tuy Hoa. The flight will take 1 hour each way.

Earlier on March 18, the Bangkok-Thua Thien Hue first direct flight carrying 161 Thai passengers arrived at Phu Bai Airport.
The 100 Thai business delegation led by Bangkok Governor Paribatra Sukhumbhand made a three-day tour of Thua Thien-Hue to seek investment and cooperation opportunities.

Thailand’s NewGen Airways managing the air route pledged to take test run fights and subsidize the activity for one year. If charter flights are successful, it will offer a new opportunity for both sides to stimulate tourism development.
