North Korea launches unidentified projectile

 Japan’s Defense Ministry said Wednesday that North Korea appears to have launched an unidentified projectile on Wednesday morning. The launch seemed to be a failure, according to the Defense Ministries of Japan and South Korea.  South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea launched the projectile from the Sunan area in Pyongyang. No further details have been given. Intelligence services of the US and South Korea are collecting more data on the launch.

This year North Korea has conducted launches more frequently than ever before. The latest one, the ninth so far this year, occurred on March 5.
