Pakistan to release 360 Indian prisoners

Pakistan will release 360 Indian prisoners as a goodwill gesture amid the continued tension between the two countries, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The prisoners will be freed in phases within April. The first batch will be released next Monday. The Indian prisoners include 355 fishermen who were detained for illegally fishing in Pakistan's territorial waters and 5 Indian civilians. Pakistan hopes for the same action from India.
